Here you can listen to samples from our CD ‘The Swineherd’. ‘The Swineherd’ is our tribute to H. C. Andersen and Carl Nielsen; two poor boys growing up to become world famous against all odds. We turned the fairy tales of our childhood into music with songs we grew up with – and others we learned later on in life. ‘The Swineherd’ has been touring for several years from Odense across Vendsyssel, to the Danish colony on the Sun Coast and in 2007, the time came to record this music tale. The preliminary work was done during a few magical days in March in Ørslev Kloster – a former convent near the city of Skive, which is now a retreat centre for working artists. In the middle of a tremendous hail storm, we found the peace and quiet to discover new as well as old truths in the music and lyrics. It is our hope that this special sentiment will reach our listeners. |
